The diagonal of a long triangular bar (45-45-90 triangle section) is well insulated. While sides of equivalent length are maintained at uniform temperatures of 100 and 0 C. a. Establish a nodal network consisting of five nodes on each (perpendicular) side. For one of the nodes on the diagonal surface, define a suitable control volume and derive the finite difference equation. Using this form for the diagonal nodes and appropriate equations for the interior nodes, find the temperature distribution in the bar. On a scale drawing of the shape, show the 25, 50 and 75C isotherms. (assume unit dimensions for the two perpendicular sides.
