Find the rate of heat transfer from the turbine


Steam at 2 kg /s enters a turbine at 6000 kPa and 600 C and exits as saturated vapor at 20 kPa. The turbine produces 2000 kW of shaft work. If the surroundings are at 30 C and the flow is steady, find (a) the rate of heat transfer from the turbine (b) the rate of entropy production by the steam.
