Find the proper solution in hr level

Assignment task:

During the assessment at Epic Systems, three primary HR/IR challenges emerged from the interviews, shedding light on critical aspects influencing the overall employee experience which cause a high turnover rate.

One prominent challenge highlighted by multiple interviewees revolves around **micromanagement and its impact on work-life balance**. Employees expressed frustration with the company's inclination towards micromanaging work hours and in-office attendance. The requirement to meticulously log hours, participate in weekly check-ins, and plan work weeks was perceived as intrusive, encroaching on personal time. This micromanagement approach, coupled with the insistence on daily in-office attendance, even amid a changing landscape favoring remote work, emerged as a significant source of stress. Such practices raise concerns about the company's adaptability to industry norms and its commitment to fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Another critical challenge identified pertains to **leadership and decision-making processes** within the organization. While leadership was generally perceived as effective in terms of product delivery, dissatisfaction with upper management's decision-making was consistently reported. Employees expressed a sense of disconnect between decisions made at the upper management level and their preferences and needs. Notably, key decisions impacting employees, such as changes in policies and benefits, occurred without adequate consultation with the workforce. The resistance to change at the upper management level emerged as a factor potentially contributing to turnover, as employees feel unheard and undervalued in decision-making processes.

A third notable challenge centers on **employee well-being and burnout**. Concerns were raised about the company's approach to mental well-being, with employees expressing dissatisfaction with the existing support systems. The policies in place, such as the option for a "personal burnout day," were criticized as impractical and difficult to utilize effectively. The emphasis on being labeled "essential workers" and the perceived lack of genuine concern for employee well-being, particularly in managing workload and stress, emerged as significant challenges. This gap in supporting mental well-being could contribute to increased stress levels and potential burnout, ultimately impacting employee retention.
