Find the p-value for average size of a home

The average size of a home in 2003 was 2309 square feet according to the National Association of Home Builders and reported in USA Today Snapshots (November 27, 2004). The homebuilders of a northeastern city believe that the average size of homes continues to increase each year. To test their claim, a random sample of 41 new homes was selected; they revealed an average of 2482 square feet. Assuming that the population standard deviation is approximately 456 square feet, is there evidence that the average size has increased since the 2003 figure? Use α = .05 level of significance.
