Water from a stationary nozzle strikes a flat plate (directed normal to the plate as shown in the figure). The velocity of the water leaving the nozzle is 15 m/s and the nozzle area is 0.01 m2. After the water strikes the plate, subsequent flow is parallel to the plate.
