Axial flow coolant pump for one lop pressurized nuclear reactor has: 75 m head, 6m3/s flow rate, 1440RPM, 800 mm diameter, and 2MW. Density of water is 714 kg/m3. The plant manager decided to build a model. However, test conditions limit the available power to 400 kW and 1 m3/s flow of water. Assume model and prototype efficiencies are the same. Find the head and speed of the model.
