• Part I: Educate yourself about the energy use (i.e., heating/air conditioning, stove, water heater, fireplace, etc.) in your own home. Is it all supplied by electricity, or all by natural gas, or both? If both, which devices use electricity and which use natural gas?
• Part II: Find the energy-consumption rate (AKA the power) for three devices you use every day. This value - in watts - is generally listed somewhere on the device or its power adapter, if it has one.
