Find simple formula for area of an oblique sas triangle

1. Find a simple formula for the area of an oblique SAS triangle (a triangle that is not a right triangle for which you know the lengths of two sides and the measure of their included angle)? Explain where your formula comes from.

2. The definition of a parabola in Section 9.2 is the set of all points that are the same distance from a point (the focus) and a line (the directrix). The definition assumes that the focus is not a point on the directrix. What would the graph look like of we use the same definition with the focus a point on the directrix?

3. The eccentricity of an ellipse is the ratio c/a where c is the distance from the center to each focus and a is the distance along the major axis from the center to a point on the ellipse. Note that the eccentricity is always a number between 0 and 1. What can you say about an ellipse which has very small or very large eccentricity?
