Find rate of work exchanged in compressor and surroundings

A compressor pressurizes air from 1 atm to 2.38 atm at steady state. At the entry the air's temperature is 70F, whereas at the exit it has quadrupled (in degrees F). At the entry the air's volumetric flow rate is 17 ft3/s, whereas at the exit its velocity is 40 ft/s. Heat is transferred from the compressor in the amount of one Btu per lb of air flowing through. If the flow area (A) at the entry is 0.25 ft2, calculate (a) the velocity of air at the entry in ft/s; (b) the rate of work exchanged between the compressor and its surroundings in Btu/s. Use the ideal gas model to calculate the air's specific volume and use the appropriate ideal gas table to calculate its specific internal enthalpy. The air's molar mass is approximately 29 lb/lbmol.
