A heat exchanger brings 9 kg/s water from 250 C to 600 C at 2000 kPa using air coming in at 1300 K and leaving at 450K. Determine (a) the rate of exergy destruction (kW) and (b) the second-law efficiency? The ambient temperature and pressure is 21 C and 98 kPa, respectively.
