Glycerine, density 1260 kg/m3 and viscosity 0.4 Pa-s, flows through a heat exchanger, as shown. Each of the threaded bends has a K=0.3. If the diameter of the pipe is 6 cm, the surface roughness is 0.002 mm, and L = 1.29 m, determine the pressure loss over the heat exchanger if the flow rate of glycerine is 9 L/s. Assume the heat exchanger lies horizontally.
