Someone wants to design a simple Rankine cycle using water. Suppose the turbine exit is at 1 bar, saturated vapor, and the pump entrance is at 1 bar, saturated liquid. Assume isentropic pump and turbine. The designer realizes he can't in any practical way get a high thermal efficiency. Find the pressure necessary at the turbine entrance to yield a thermal efficiency equal to 0.3.
