Air enters a nozzle steadily at 300 kPa, 200°C, and 45 m/s and leaves at 100 kPa, 180 m/s. The inlet area of the nozzle is 110 cm2. The heat transfer from the nozzle is 15% of the kinetic energy change of the air. Determine (A) the mass flow rate through the nozzle, (B) the exit temperature of the air, and (C) the exit area of the nozzle. Assume constant specific heats at 300 K.
