If the projectile is fired with the initial speed of v ft/s at the angle a above horizontal, then it's position after t seconds is provided by parametric equations:

x=(vcosa)t y=(vsina)t-16t2

(where x and y are measured in feet). Illustrate that path of projectile is a parabola by eliminating parameter t.

Assume the gun fires the bullet into air with the initial speed of 2048 ft/s at the angle of 30o to horizontal.

a) After how many seconds will bullet hit ground?

b) How far from gun will bullet hit ground?

c) Find maximum height obtained by bullet?
