Problem
You will need to research one object that an enslaved or free black woman would have used outside during this module's time frame of early slavery in the United States from 1619-1700 c.e. (means common era--it replaced a.d. about years ago).
Find Her Artifact by doing an internet search, perhaps looking for words such as early colonial, American slavery, or other such words you may have noticed while reading the lecture page. Include a picture of your outside artifact and write at least a two paragraph description of it and how an enslaved or free black woman would have used this object. Make sure you cite your sources for your answer and the picture as well.
Your artifact object could be anything, from a farm tool to boots, etc. The possibilities of "Finding Her Artifact" are endless! Enjoy doing this weekly assignment!
