Nitrogen gas enters a steady-state, steady flow heater at 600 kPa, 15°C and exits at 550 kPa, 1200°C. Changes in kinetic and potential energies are negligible. Calculate the heat transfer per kilogram of nitrogen flowing through the heater. Assume that nitrogen behaves as an ideal gas.
