The mean. For this exercise you will create data sets, enter them into the One-Variable Statistical Calculator applet, and examine the output in the Statistics tab. Each data set will contain 6 observations. Each observation can be 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5, as in our core curriculum example. For example, a data set could be 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 5. You may need to explore several possibilities before finding the answers.
(a) Find a data set that maximizes the value of the mean.
(b) Find a data set that minimizes the value of the mean.
(c) Find two different data sets that have a mean equal to 3 but different standard deviations.
