(b) Find an expression for the natural response of the circuit.

(c) Suppose that for t = 0-, each capacitor voltage is 1 V and the inductor current is zero. Compute the zero-input response.

Observe that this response has a steady-state part. This phenomenon illustrates why equations 14.7 require more than just a stable transfer function as an underlying assumption. It is necessary that the transfer function include all the dynamics of the circuit, which is not the circuit of Figure P14.42
