You have a choice of assignments for this forum. Choose just one of the following.
1) Find a cultural reference to the Moon (song, poem, work of art, etc.). Post it to the forum. Discuss how the Moon is portrayed. Is it scientifically accurate? What do you like about what you chose?
2) What changes might have happened (or not happened) to the Earth if the Moon had never formed? How might this have influenced civilization? How might it have influenced the development of astronomy?
