Assignment: Carefully re-read Anselm's Proslogion, Chapter 2. Then do the following three things (not necessarily in this order):
(A) In Chapter 2 of the Proslogion, Ansehn presents his famous ontological argument for the existence of God. Present this argument formally (i.e., with numbered premises and conclusion), and briefly describe how he defends each of its premises. Use specific evidence from the text, and be sure to cite this material.
(B) Next, present and explain either Gaunilo's 'Perfect Island' objection to Anselm's argument or Aquinas's objection from Summa Theologiae, Part 1, Question 2, Article 1. Again, use specific evidence from the text, and be sure to cite this material.
(C) Finally, assess the strength of the objection you've presented. How successful do you think this objection is, and why?
