- Steglitz forceps or pin pilers.
- Access cavity flooded with chloroform to dissolve the sealer.
- Grasp the extended end of silver point
- High-speed, surgical-length cutting tools.
- Avoid foreshortening of SP.
- Strong grip SP tip and gently pull to confirm its relative tightness.
- Avoid foreshortening the pilers is rotated using fulcrum mechanics and levered against the restoration or tooth structure.
- Ultrasonic vibrations can be applied to the forceps holding the point.
