Express differential condition with boundary conditions


Consider the base of an 800 W household iron with a thickness, L= 0.6cm, base area = 160cm^2, and thermal conductivity, K = 60 W/m K. The inner surface of the base plate is subjected to uniform heat flux generated by the resistance heaters inside. When steady operating conditions exist, the outer surface temp of the plate is 112 deg C. disregard heat loss through upper part of iron.

Express the differential condition with proper boundary conditions for steady state one dimensional heat conduction through plate.
