Aim of assessment
The purpose of assessment is to provide you with an opportunity to consider how culture plays a substantial role in the way people approach death and dying. Indigenous cultural practices differ significantly to those of other cultures and as a nurse working in a palliative setting, it is important that you have a good understanding of such cultural practices.
Details
You are required to write a 1500 word essay that explores the cultural practices, beliefs and traditions of Indigenous People in relation to death and dying and demonstrates an understanding of culturally sensitive nursing care in a palliative setting.
