Problem: Narrative Essay
Narrative essays explore topics at greater length and depth, and are opportunities for students who enjoy writing to reflect on their experience of different cultures, living abroad, migrating to the U.S., serving in a diverse military, coming out, supporting a sibling or best friend that comes out, being friends with or married to a person of a different ethnicity, being discriminated against, etc. The essay should address how the experience shaped or changed your way of thinking, values or attitudes. Students are expected to integrate the topics learned in class into the essay.
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
