Explore the stories in your own unique contexts

English Homework

In this homework, write 5 to 6 pages (ballpark figure. It could be more or less depending on what you want to say) in which you explore the themes of Flannery O'Connor. The best homework will pick up on a theme, like the force of evil, or that of Christian humility, or how all people are God's children and therefore equal in the eyes of god, and so forth, and explore that theme in some detail, using at least 2 of the 3 stories as source material.

I think that all of us, if we are southern, know characters like O'Connor writes about, so some of you might explore these stories in your own unique contexts. Other of you might have little experience with religion, and you can bring that perspective to the project. It really is up to you. I just want to push you to exercise your intellectual abilities, to think about these themes and take them very seriously.

Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:

i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.

ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.

iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
