You learned about the importance of diversity in forensic assessment, specifically, understanding the role of culture in behavioral presentations, including criminal behavior. Diversity considerations in diagnoses and test measures were also explored.
You will choose a forensic assessment measure to investigate. Your measure may be a risk assessment, structured clinical interview, personality test, trauma inventory, among others. You can access Tests, Measurements, and Scales through the NCU library by clicking the link located under your course resources.
After reviewing and selecting a forensic measure, you will then design an advertisement for the measure, specifically marketing its use with diverse populations. Your advertisement should:
i. Discuss the importance of cultural competence in forensic assessment.
ii. Explore the benefits of using a measure that is culturally competent.
iii. Identify how the measure you selected is culturally competent and why it should be used, as opposed to another measure.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
