• Favorite ______ (fill in the blank - candy, soda/pop, artists)
• Political candidate preferences
• Facilities on campus (survey people about how often they use a service or how much they enjoy the workout facilities, etc...)
• Sleeping habits, texting habits, study habits, time spent on social media
• Future expectations of UIndy students - what percentage of students expect to be married within 5 years of graduation? Do the answers vary between males and females?
• GPA vs where a student sits in class (front, middle, back of room)
Experiments or Observational Studies:
• Color distribution of M&M's compared to what the website says
• Economy vs name-brand products
• Observing people at locations on campus or around Indy (while sitting in the student center, do you see people with backpacks or messenger bags or no bags at all, etc...)
• Microwave popcorn popping comparison
• Distance to throw/hit a sports ball (golf ball, football)
• Time to do something (run, swim, make x number of baskets)
• Time waiting in line at Wal-Mart
• Taste testing
• Book price (number of pages, type - fiction vs non-fiction)
• Airfare cost (distance, how far in advance it was scheduled, time of day to depart, day of the week to depart)
