As the Nursing Administrator in charge of patient satisfaction at Colorado Tech University Hospital serving a large minority patient population, you have found a significant decline in patient satisfaction in the assessed area of respect for patient values and preferences, especially as it relates to cultural competence. Noting this decline along with its ethical implications, you are to develop a plan for the hospital that addresses patient-centered care, cultural competence beginning with adjustment of the institution's mission, and an end goal of patient care delivery with a focus on the interdisciplinary team implementation.
