1) Based on your experience and the resources you have read and interacted within this unit, where does culture come from? What role, if any, do you believe mass media play in shaping culture and setting cultural norms?
2) Select a current "tastemaker" in the American culture. Explain why they would be considered a tastemaker. What current cultural trends have this particular tastemaker contributed to or made popular?
