The paper itself provides an informative but largely descriptive overview of the different micro-finance providers in China. There is some analysis of the challenges faced by each type of provider plus some information on change over time for each type of provider. It is a bit confusing why there are 2 different lists of types of providers.
The abstract is very useful, but the reader also expects to find a conclusion. The conclusion could be about which types of providers have been more successful/important to date and some assessment of the overall impact of the providers.
Finally, the wording is unclear in a number of places. Please see especially comments # 1, 2, 6, 7, 10 and 12.
Make the following improvements/clarifications before I assign the final mark:
1. Fix the unclear passages noted in comments # 1, 2, 6, 7, 10 and 12.
2. Explain why there are 2 different lists of types of providers (this can be in your email rather than the paper).
3. Provide a brief conclusion.
