Journal Homework: Human Computer Interaction
For the Usability Journal homework, you are to write three journal entries.
a. Each entry shall be approximately 300 words each.
b. Each entry shall focus on an object that contains a bad usability design.(NO WEBSITES OR APPS!!!)
c. Example objects includes doors, faucets, light switches, doors, ovens, microwaves, pianos. Real objects!!!!
d. Explain why the object being described does not maintain good usability practices.
e. The deliverable shall include citable examples of best practices from academic literature explaining why the product/object does not follow best practices.
Example: A remote control.
o What about the remote control makes the device both a good and bad example for the usability perspective?
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
