Explain why referring to the individuals

Problem

Recent Canadian labour market statistics suggest that about 90 percent of men, age 25-64, are in the labour foree. For women, the value is a bit lower at about 82 percent. However, among those not in the labonr force (i.e., those who are jobless and not looking for work), a disproportionate amount have a low level of education, and the bulk of these individuals rely of social assistance (i., 'velfare' payents) as their primary means of income. This has led some to call these individuals "lazy' and/or 'deadbeats'. However, many of these individuals find it almost impossible to fnd secure employment above minimun wage. Thus, from an opportunity cost perspective, explain why referring to these individuals using such derogatory terms may be short-sighted, particularly for those with children and/or those unable to afford housing within a city's CBD.
