The closing case for Chapter 6 discusses the two emerging markets of Brazil and Mexico in terms of automobile production. Review the case and address the following:
1. If you were an executive working for an emergency automaker from China or India, assuming your firm has the ability to enter only one Latin American country for the time being, which country would you recommend: Brazil or Mexico?
2. Explain why and support your selection with specific reasons. In your response, you might include, but are not limited to, considerations such as transportation costs, legal systems, availability of qualified labor, etc.
