In the group stages of the recent 2022 FIBA Asia Cup, Australia along with Jordan, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia comprised the four teams in Group A and played against each other in a "round-robin". Their standings and their win/loss record at the conclusion of the group stage play can be found at: Group A Let X denote the (four) teams in Group A. For each pair of teams, y and z in X, set y "is a better team than" z, if y defeated z in their group game. For example, since Australia won all three of its group games, we set Australia "is a better team than" Jordan, Australia "is a better team than" Indonesia and, Australia "is a better team than" Saudi Arabia.
