Assignment: Path-Goal Style
Write a three to four page paper (not including the title and reference pages) about a contemporary leadership situation that is familiar to you. You may use the same situation from the Week 2 assignment. Your paper needs to:
a) Define path-goal leadership.
b) Identify the path-goal leadership style used in this situation; provide the tasks, and the subordinates' characteristics.
c) Support your position with specific examples.
d) Explain whether the action taken was appropriate and effective.
e) Discuss if the path-goal leadership approach would be useful in understanding the leadership applied to the situation.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
