Discussion "Project Control"
Each week, you will be asked to respond to the prompt or prompts in the discussion forum. Your initial post should be 75-150 words in length, and is due on Sunday. You should respond to two additional posts from your peers.
Understanding where your project is versus the baseline projection is important. Further, understanding why your project is tracking a particular way is even more important.
Conduct research to find an example of a project that meets one of the following constraints:
• Finished on-time but over budget
• Finished on-time and within budget
• Finished late and within budget
• Fished late and over budget
The project must have been completed within the last six months.
In your post you should summarize the project details and results. Then explain what you learned from this research and how you would change your own project planning and controlling processes based on this new information.
Discussion "Biometric Security Devices"
Assume you are working for a medium-sized company that sells products on its Web site and that the company keeps the computers that run its Web server,? database server, and transaction processing server in the office next to yours.
Describe what a biometric security device is and explain how your employer?might use one to more of these devices to protect its servers.
