Discussion Post: Logical Fallacy
Find an editorial cartoon or advertisement online that serves as an example of a logical fallacy. Then, in 200-250 words, respond to the discussion prompt. Lastly, respond to at least two of your peers' posts in a substantive manner. "I agree" or "Good point" are not accepted as substantive responses to your peers.
Prompts
1. Post a graphic (editorial cartoon or advertisement) and identify at least one fallacy contained within it.
2. Explain what the fallacy is and why the graphic is an example of it.
3. The graphic you choose cannot duplicate any we have analyzed or read about in this course to date.
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
