Assignment: Culture Stereotypes
Write a 1 to 3 pages paper in which you describe a gender stereotype that exists in your culture and analyze it as follows:
1) Explain the effects that the stereotype has on both males and females in your culture. Think in terms of the impact on family, school, work, health, sexual behaviors and attitudes, and so forth.
2) Explain what perpetuates the stereotype.
3) Explain how, if at all, this stereotype has impacted you personally.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
