The objective of this Assignment
- Explain what influenced your personality
- Get to know others' personalities by the influence they had
Instructions:
Everyone has aspects of their lives that are special, unique life-shaping elements and these characteristics have helped influence a special perception. This idea - that the influences that helped develop who we are today, also help to shape how we each perceive events - is applicable to the majority of our population.
Some influences that have been highlighted are: (culture, education, class, religion, region, sex, and gender - whatever they touch base on)
For discussion:
Choose an element or area of influence that you identify with the least.
Write A post that summarizes how this aspect has influenced others' lives in the course
- Does it give new info/perception to that aspect?
- Was it something overlooked?
- Is it under-exaggerated?
- was/is it not an influence for you?
Guidelines:
1. Post your assignment and/or discussion in the Discussion Forum when your facilitator assigns it. Check the course module and weekly schedule for instructions.
2. Reply to a minimum of two other classmates' original postings with substance and meaningful responses. Post these early in the discussion period so that others have a chance to reply to your postings.
3. Respond to other classmates' postings in your original thread with substance and meaningful responses to either produce higher clarity or summarize your discussion.
4. Leaving your postings until the end of the discussion period will limit others from responding to you and therefore may affect your mark.
5. Ensure you properly cite any work that is not yours in your discussions.
