The scenario: You are the leader of a highly Fective team. You have worked very hard at developing this team into a cohesive group and your efforts hove paid off. Today one of your group members has asked to meet with you to discuss a problem he/she is trying to deal with. The group member explains that he/she wants to learn how to set up an Excel spreadsheet budget to track project expenses and that there is another group member that this person really, really likes that knows how to do this but he/she is hesitant to ask this other person (who they think also likes them) because if the other person says no then things might get awkward at the team meetings and when the two of them would have to work on team tasks together.
