Explain what are these values and beliefs and traditions

Although not ideal in its "epic" form, the story of Gilgamesh is same to later epics such as Homer's Odyssey and Virgil's Aeneid in that it features a heroic character who goes on a trip and undergoes tremendous trials; and, most significant perhaps, it returns the beliefs, traditions and values of the culture from which it initiated and of those in which it was sustained for maybe thousands of years.

Explain what are these values and beliefs and traditions and how relevant are they to you?

From your reading of the Epic of Gilgamesh, Explain what in its loose "plot" and in the actions of its characters most obviously reflects fundamental human behavior as you perceive it at this point in your life, and what does it, thus, reveal about that ancient culture?
