1. Could one potentially create many copies of the same human individual if they were to isolate the stem cells at the 4 or the 8 cell stage and allow them to develop in utero? Explain using biological terms why that would work?
2. Let's say you have a worm as a pet and you decide to clone it. You mate it with another pet worm and isolate one zygote. At the 8 cell stage, you isolate the 8 stem cells and separate them into 8 dishes. Will you be successful with your cloning plans here? Why or why not? Elaborate as best as you can in your own words.
