1. Recently, there has been much criticism about the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement. Discuss three issues that may seem questionable in relation to the agreement. Given that eight other nations have already signed their participation, would you recommend to the U.S. Senate that it should be ratified?
2. Many financial newspapers or websites say that the U.S. dollar is the strongest currency in the world. Think about the factors that affect exchange rates, and make a case that our currency should or should not be the strongest. In your opinion, what are the advantages to having a strong currency versus a weak currency?
3. Describe a couple of products in your household that have been imported. Could a domestically made product have filled the need just as well? Can you describe any services that you use as being imported?
