Explain Traffic Intensity in networking.

Traffic Intensity: The traffic load on a given network may be on interoffice trunk lines, the local switching unit or other common subsystem. For analytical treatment in such text, all the common sub systems of a telecommunication network are collectively called servers. In other publications the term Trunk or link is used. The traffic on the network may after that measure in terms of the occupancy of the servers in the network. That measure is termed as the traffic intensity that is defined as:

A = period for that a server is occupied/ Total period of observation
