Problem: Service Learning Project
This is the first task related to the Service Learning Project.
As your teacher has already explained, since March 2019 due to Covid-19 a Research Project (alternate task) is being carried out. In this way, we try to avoid the spread of Covid-19 by not attending a public or private center or institution for 10 hours to complete the project.
Task
1) The teacher will select a current social problem that affects the community.
2) Identify, define and explain the topic that you will investigate in reliable academic sources or in the Virtual Library and use at least two of these references to develop the topic.
3) Write the information below in a minimum of two paragraphs of five complete sentences each:
• Social problem
a) Identifies, defines and explains in detail the social problem investigated.
b) Integrates historical background, legal bases, regulations or processes to explain the origin and context of the social problem investigated.
c) Explains the importance of finding a solution to the social problem investigated.
