A common problem for IT managers is ensuring system users practice good computer hygiene and understand fully the importance of strong passwords. Put yourself in the role of the IT Manager and write a policy memo 2 pages outlining the reason for the recent changes in password policy and remind them of the characteristics of a strong password that will be enforced and why it is important. Remember that your audience will more often than not have wide gaps in understanding so avoid the use of complex jargon or terms and explain things in terms anyone can understand. Feel free to be creative and establish a fictional organization so you can get into character.
