Problem: The Great Depression was truly a monumental event in US History. When the Great Depression fell upon the unsuspecting country in 1929, the US government resorted to tried-and-true methods to ameliorate its effects, but these policies were generally ineffective. President Franklin D. Roosevelt introduced what is known as the "New Deal" in the 1930s, an aggressive set of policies aimed at addressing the most challenging effects of the Depression. But, his policies did not go far enough, some thought. Please explain the ways the Second New Deal, introduced in 1935, was a more aggressive version of its predecessor policy, the First New Deal.
