Explain the two most basic loops used system diagrams

Discussion:

Senge explains the two most basic loops used system diagrams. These are reinforcing and balancing loops. From your experience provide an example of a reinforcing and a balancing loop. (There are several examples given in 5th D to help you get started.) Further, Senge proposes that many events that may be seen as linear with a cause and effective relationship may actually be better understood as a loop. Senge calls us to shift from linear thinking. How might systems thinking change your perception of a situation?
