Assignment: Theories and Social Influences in Women's Health
You considered some of the biological and social differences between females and males, as well as the need for a gender specific course in the subject. Whether or not you think it is necessary or appropriate to have a separate course in women and health, it is important to be aware that there are issues, social influences, and theories specific to women's health.
For this Assignment, you explore some of the theories and social influences related to women's health and some of your own interests in the area. Select two issues in women's health in which you are interested and consider how they are conceptualized in the theory or social influence that most resonates with you.

• Describe two issues in women's health in which you are interested and explain how they are conceptualized in the theory or social influence you chose.
