Problem
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, all employees now find themselves under an exorbitant amount of both mental and physical stress. But Doug the hospital administrator is not handling the stress very well. He has been working non-stop, 10-hour shifts, seven days a week over the last few weeks at ECPI Medical Center. No day is ever the same, and each day, he is unsure of what to expect. He is also feeling the stress of not being able to provide PPE (personal protective equipment) needed for the employees to protect themselves. In an effort to relieve some of his stress, Doug logged into his personal Twitter account and began badmouthing his organization, ECPI Medical Center. He was sharing his thoughts on how poorly he feels the entire situation is being handled, and that employees do not have the PPE needed to safely conduct their jobs. He even took it one step further and made a derogatory remark about the CEO and a recent public health announcement which was made on television.
ECPI Medical Center has determined Doug needs remediation so please explain the steps you would take to provide remediation. Identify a minimum of two.
